CPL stands for Cost Per Lead.

CPS stands for Cost Per Sale.

If you do not have the right data in your business, you are effectively blind in your business.

In your business you need to know these numbers. You need to know what they were last year, last month, this month, even yesterday. They are THAT important.

Companies who use measurements and data to help make decisions perform better.

When I start working with clients, one of the first steps is getting this data sorted.

Here is an example …

This client CPL was over R300 when we started. 18 Months later his cost per lead dropped to between R74 and R7. This means, he is getting leads at a 1/4 than before on the highest end.

How do you get better data?

  • Step 1: Define your KPI (key performance indicator)
  • Step 2: What are you data sources?
  • Step 3: Create reporting tool
  • Step 4: Review weekly
